Ms. Stern

Ms. Stern is Director of the Haggard Orchestra for 6th-8th grade students. This is her 7th year teaching in Plano and 6th year at Haggard. She feels extremely fortunate to work and collaborate with the talented fine arts staff both at Haggard and across the district.  Ms. Stern is not a native Texan, but thoroughly enjoys all the art, culture, and music the DFW area has to offer. She grew up in Philadelphia, received her Bachelor's in Piano Performance from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, and recently graduated from SMU with her Master's in Music Education. Outside of performing and teaching, Ms. Stern loves to spend her time outdoors, camping, backpacking and exploring. On weekends, when not outdoors, she loves to explore the best taco joints in town.
